Membership is automatic and free for those with Hypnosis New Zealand Qualifications. Associate Membership applications, or applications to upgrade to HNZ Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist (from SPMHNZ or AMHNZ) are welcomed. (Training and experience conditions and annual fees apply.)
You can proudly be a part of the largest Hypnotherapy group in New Zealand; that rewards its members with a multitude of valuable extras (most of them totally free). If you have completed a Hypnosis New Zealand training course, then your membership is fully paid - for life! The HNZ Gold Star Proficiency Standards are amongst the most stringent and credible in Hypnotherapy - because they reflect each individual Hypnotherapist's proficiency - rather than just their competency! They are based on the prestigious and comprehensive Hypnosis New Zealand training - as well as recognising outside training in the case of HNZ Associate Members. The Hypnosis New Zealand Peer Support Network is now a Facebook Group. Membership of this group is available on application for all HNZ Students, Members and Supporters who would like to make contact with others for the purposes of sharing, mentoring, support and co-operation. This is a private group and only HNZ Students, Members and Supporters are granted access to post messages. Posts must be directly related to Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. For more than 20 years, we have produced our HYPNOTES newsletter. It began as an occasionally posted paper newsletter to therapy clients; progressed to an emailed electronic newsletter; then finally it has become the most regular online Hypnosis newsletter in New Zealand. It's always there and is totally free to thousands of readers. Hypnosis New Zealand Members and supporters are offered free advertising of their Hypnotherapy practice alongside their interesting articles, experiences, news, or events in HYPNOTES. All practicing Hypnosis New Zealand Hypnotherapists are offered a priority listing on the Directory of Hypnosis New Zealand Hypnotherapists. This is one of the most accessed pages in all of Hypnosis New Zealand - and provides all listed HNZ Hypnotherapists with many valuable client contacts. You can submit for inclusion, all of your Hypnotherapy Practice information; including your specialties, your photo, your contact details and even a link to your own website (if you have one). It's all totally free from Hypnosis New Zealand. We also have a directory for our HNZ Registered Clinical Hypnotherapists. These are our best of the best and have taken each Hypnotherapist many years of training and experience to attain. Plus, we at HNZ are always receiving emails and phone calls from prospective Hypnotherapy clients who are visiting the Hypnosis New Zealand websites and wanting advice on the most appropriate Hypnotherapist for them. As a Hypnosis New Zealand member, you will likely be highest on the referral list (providing of course you have the appropriate training, knowledge and experience to satisfy the needs of the potential client). NB: We will never "recommend" any Hypnotherapist to a potential client. Instead we "suggest" those who may be the most appropriate to each issue/client and suggests a phone call for a chat and potential connection.
