Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive, fun and educational space for all hypnotherapists to learn and grow.
We bring in experts, live and via zoom to appear on guest Zoom Meetups. All are welcome to these, you will find replays on
YOUTUBE and our FREE MEMBERS Portal above.
Basic Member - This member includes the HNZ extensive video library and access to the members area, support via our Heartbeat App and free entry into the guest zoom meet ups. This membership is completely free and available to anyone interested in Hypnotherapy.
Professional Member (PMHNZ) - An annually renewable membership level for beginning Hypnotherapists who hold an HNZ Diploma or equivalent. (must have had in-class supervised training) and who has applied and been accepted. Students may also apply for this membership which will allow them access to the monthly practicing support sessions. (Student will be added to the directory listing)
Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist (HNZRCH) - An annually renewable membership level is for Hypnotherapists who are actively working in the field. This membership comes with a Certificate with Registration number, monthly practicing support sessions, a welcome pack and ability to use the HNZ logo on website. Please see Learn More for membership requirements.
Registered members are required to have yearly ongoing Continuing Education Credits, Supervision & Insurance meeting the accepted standards here in NZ.

Hypnosis New Zealand is a unincorporated society established in 2012 to support safety practices, regulation and education for hypnotherapists and the community.
Currently there are no regulations regarding offering hypnotherapy in New Zealand so it is up to the individual to choose to align with a self regulating body.
We require a high standard of entry to become a registered member holding a practicing number, which helps us align with different organisations wanting to safely incorporate hypnotherapy into their list of offered modalities.
